.) Green Horse division is for any age of horse or pony in its first or second year of showing. The horse or pony may not enter any other mounted classes with the exception of gymkhana classes that are appropriate.
.) If you are a Champion or Reserve Champion in the Green Horse division, you must move out of the class the following year.
.) Junior division is for riders 17 years and under as of January 1, 2010.
.) Open Jumper division is open to all riders except Short Stirrup and Novice division riders. Green Horse division horses and ponies are not permitted in the Open Jumper division.
.) No adding horses to a division after that division has started.
.) 2-Handed classes in the western division: No cross registering into the Open Western Pleasure, Open Western Horsemanship or the trot / jog classes. This class is open to all ages of riders. It is to encourage either an inexperienced horse or the less confident rider to participate. All horses shown in the 2-Handed classes must be shown in a snaffle bit. These horse and rider combinations may only show in this division for 2 years.
.) Western youth riders are 14 years and under as of January 1, 2010.
.) Western adult riders are 15 years and older as of January 1, 2010.

.) All horses and ponies are to be kept under control and supervised while at the LHA show grounds. Do not leave your animals tied to trailers, etc, without a handler present. You must sit astride in proper riding position at all times while mounted.
.) When riding outside the rings, you must not exceed a walk - so that horses tied to trailers will not be startled.
.) Due to insurance reasons, no dogs allowed on show day.
.) All horse and rider combinations showing in walk / trot / jog classes may not show in any canter / lope classes.
.) All western walk / jog and gymkhana trot / jog entries are for any age horse or pony, and rider, combination in its first or second year of showing.
.) If you are not at the gate when your number is called, you have one minute to enter the ring or you will be disqualified. Rider number will be called twice, then no more.
.) Please note that an ASTM approved helmet is mandatory for any competitor under the age of 18 years taking part in the English, Western or gymkhana classes.
.) For gymkhana, appropriate attire must be worn - long pants, proper footwear and long or short sleeved tops. No tank tops.
.) Only members are eligible for year end awards. Members must show in at least 2 shows. Points are accumulated from the date of membership.
.) No pets allowed on show days.
.) The order of classes may be changed at any time.
.) It is the rider and coaches responsibility to be aware of all rules. Any cross entering errors will result in all points being revoked (ie: entering trot / jog classes and canter / lope classes - this is not permitted). If you are aware of any discrepancies, please report them to the executive.
.) Over Fences classes. Limit of 1 rider per horse per class. This eliminates any unfair advantages of the horse already being exposed to the course.
.) If you scratch your class(es) your money is not refunded, except for vet or farrier reasons. Shows run rain or shine. They are only canceled in the event of lightning or if the Judge deems it necessary.
.) You must use the same number for each horse / rider combination. If you are showing another horse or another rider will be showing the same horse, they must have a different number.
.) In order to qualify for year end awards, there must be 3 horses per class per show.
.) Pre-entries must be in by 2pm on Fridays, otherwise you must register the day of the show.
.) Horses in attendance not showing in any classes (schooling only) must register and pay class fees at the show office. This is done for insurance purposes only.
.) Hors Concours entries: Any horse / rider combination riding Hors Concours may not be judged in any class on the same show day.
.) New Venue Rules: The grounds must be left clean after our shows, as they are used for soccer fields weekly. You MUST POOP & SCOOP and take it home with you. All excess hay must be cleaned up on your departure. Please place your garbage in the containers - not on the ground.
.) You must enter all gymkhana classes at least 3 classes prior to the class you want to participate in.
.) All single run gymkhana events must finish with your horse and rider turning to the right to avoid the show officials. First offense will be a warning. Second offense will be show elimination. No refunds will be issued.

Please remember.... your executive are all volunteers.

The Judge's decision is final.
